- PRODUCT SCOPE
- Mobile shopping companion + product website
- CONNECTED CAPABILITIES
- Mobile shopping & budget interface / Barcode and shelf-label OCR workflows / Local storage & multilingual experience
- PROJECT STAGE
- App in testing
Original Hissabo home and shopping-basket components, rendered for the web with demo products and prices. Native camera and storage are disconnected; phone frames are for presentation.
Know the total. Before the checkout.
TOPITECH’s scope connects a React Native / Expo application, local SQLite persistence, scan-review interfaces and a multilingual website. The app is in testing; sample basket values illustrate the workflow.
- 01
Set the shopping budget
Start a shopping session with a store, currency and optional budget. The home screen makes an active basket easy to resume.
- 02
Build the basket
Add products manually or through scanning. Review recognized shelf-label information, then adjust prices and quantities when needed.
- 03
Keep spending in view
The basket updates the running total and remaining budget. Local storage supports shopping sessions when connectivity is unavailable.
Hissabo, at a glance.
Hissabo helps shoppers follow their basket total as they shop. The mobile experience combines a simple running total with barcode lookup and shelf-label recognition, so budgeting stays close to the moment of purchase.
The approach
The React Native and Expo app keeps the shopping basket on the device with SQLite. Native scanning modules support product entry, while recognized labels remain reviewable before an item is added. A multilingual public website introduces the product while the app moves through testing.
Product capabilities
- Shopping baskets, quantities and a running budget
